AFI

Proof of Reserve
Network For RWAs

Billions in assets, continuously verified and enforced on-chain in real time.

Verification Levels

Every asset is backed by verifiable data, continuously updated in real time.

No proofs

Data reported without any verifiable backing.

Tier 1

Document-Based Proofs

Supported by third-party documents such as audits, statements, or reports.

Tier 2

Direct Data Connections

Pulled directly from source systems via authenticated APIs.

Tier 3

Secure Enclave Verification

Hardware-backed attestations (SGX / Nitro) ensuring data integrity at source.

Tier 4

zkTLS / Onchain Proofs

Cryptographically proven from TLS sessions or on-chain state.

Tier 5
AFI

AFI Proof-of-Reserve Network is a decentralized verification layer that uses cryptographic proofs (e.g., Merkle trees, ZK proofs) generated within secure execution environments (TEEs) to attest to asset ownership, custody, and collateral coverage.

These proofs are continuously validated by a distributed set of operators and published on-chain or via verifiable feeds.

The resulting verification outputs can be integrated by protocols to assess solvency in real time and enforce risk parameters such as issuance limits, collateral thresholds, and automated safeguards.

Our pipeline uses AWS Nitro Enclaves for hardware-isolated data processing, ensuring no one including us can see or tamper with the data. Each data point is cryptographically committed using Keccak256 and aggregated into Merkle trees, with the root bound directly inside the TEE attestation and verified against AWS Root CA.

For zero-knowledge verification, we use Groth16 proofs built with Circom circuits and snarkjs, allowing anyone to verify data correctness without accessing the underlying values. Each payload is chained to the previous one, creating a tamper-evident history across all updates.

The primary use case is verifiable proof of reserves and real-world asset (RWA) data proving that off-chain assets like treasury bills, bank deposits, or tokenized securities actually exist and match what's reported on-chain. This is critical for stablecoin issuers, RWA protocols, and custodians who need to prove backing without exposing sensitive financial data.

Beyond reserves, the same pipeline applies to any scenario where off-chain data needs to be trustlessly brought on-chain oracle feeds, credit scoring, supply chain verification, or regulatory reporting. Any time you need a third party to prove something about private data without revealing it, this technology replaces "trust us" with "verify it yourself."
